Gowanus revisited

A couple of days ago, I wandered over to check on my favorite Brooklyn guerrilla public art installation.

This gives a better idea of the scale when you're walking by:

Am I alone in thinking that the the story of a marooned community of Little People and their almost-complete annihilation less than a month later would make a kick-ass stop-motion short film?

Looks like they all abandoned ship.

Do you think it was disease (ha!) that wiped them out, or an invasion by war-like beings?

Looks like a full on ambush. So sad. I wonder if their little corpses are hanging out at the bottom of the pond.

No. You are not alone in that thought at all.

In fact, I kinda hope that whoever out that stuff that had a secret camera watching what happened to it over the past month and will be editing that into a short film.
